[MacPorts] #36644: kde4-kile does not fire-up
#36644: kde4-kile does not fire-up -----------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: ramebal@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.2 Keywords: | Port: -----------------------+-------------------------------- Installing kde4-kile worked fine. However, when I start kile by opening the kile icon from macports applications basket, it tries coming up for some time and then vanishes without firing up. I followed procedure described at http://www.tosnos.com/?p=28. I tried solution suggested in ticket #36503, but did not help. Is there a solution? Thanks. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36644> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Are there log lines from Kile in the log (System.log in /Utilities/Console), or is there an output when launching the application from the Terminal (/Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/Kile.app/Contents/MacOS/Kile in cas of standard paths) ? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36644#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Following is the output as Kile crashes when I start from the terminal as suggested. Hope this helps...
