[MacPorts] #14453: Trac ticket opened and modified dates are displayed in vague format
#14453: Trac ticket opened and modified dates are displayed in vague format ------------------------------+--------------------------------------------- Reporter: jmr@macports.org | Owner: wsiegrist@apple.com Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Website & Documentation Component: server/hosting | Version: Keywords: | ------------------------------+--------------------------------------------- When viewing a ticket on Trac, the dates when the ticket was opened and last modified are shown in a very approximate (and relative) fashion, e.g. '3 months ago'. It is often useful to know the exact date and time when a ticket was opened, for example, to know if a commit went in before or after the ticket was opened. I would therefore like a full timestamp to be displayed, as it is on the change history entries. If people like having the information that is conveyed by the approximate relative date, it can be kept as well. Put it in parentheses after the timestamp or something. Might as well do that on the change history and attachments as well. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/14453> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS
#14453: Trac ticket opened and modified dates are displayed in vague format -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Reporter: jmr@macports.org | Owner: wsiegrist@apple.com Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Low | Milestone: Website & Documentation Component: server/hosting | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Changes (by wsiegrist@apple.com): * priority: Normal => Low * type: defect => enhancement Comment: The interval display is standard Trac, and probably not easily changed via plugins. So how many people actually want this? -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/14453#comment:1> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS

There is a patch attached to that ticket which causes the full timestamp to be displayed. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/14453#comment:3> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS
#14453: Trac ticket opened and modified dates are displayed in vague format -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Reporter: jmr@macports.org | Owner: wsiegrist@apple.com Type: enhancement | Status: closed Priority: Low | Milestone: Website & Documentation Component: server/hosting | Version: Resolution: worksforme | Keywords: -------------------------------+-------------------------------------------- Changes (by wsiegrist@apple.com): * status: new => closed * resolution: => worksforme Comment: Closing due to a lack of interest. It works fine as is, hopefully it will be per-user configurable some day. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/14453#comment:4> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS
