Could you please let us know what version of Mac OS X, Xcode and MacPorts you have, and whether you're on an Intel or PowerPC Mac. I wonder why it's talking about /usr/local. Is that your MacPorts prefix? If so, that is extremely not recommended and you should reinstall MacPorts in a different prefix. If that's not your prefix, then something is strange... is your ports tree up to date? Try again after "`sudo port selfupdate`" and "`sudo port clean --work privoxy`". -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/13883#comment:4> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS

PPC May be it is fixed in macports 1.7.0 trunk, I don't know. I do not test unstable versions. /usr/local is my macports prefix and I know what I am doing. I can't use port selfupdate, otherwise the port binary would link against all stuff in /usr/local. A pretend-option would be nice to have, though. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/13883#comment:5> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS

It has something to do with the renaming issue. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/macports/ticket/13883#comment:6> MacPorts </projects/macports> Ports system for Mac OS
