Which port(s) installed into /Applications/Python? You can find out with `port provides /path/to/file`. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/18347#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

I don't think I've done anything 'special'.. if I have how do I undo it? -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/18347#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

If you don't want any port installed into /Applications/MacPorts you can, as jmr said, set the applications_dir to a different location, but be sure to uninstall any ports which have already installed into that location first. You can set applications_dir in /opt/local/etc/macports/macports.conf . -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/18347#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
