It's not. The assumption the downloaded patch would be HTML is a false positive and can be ignored. The failed downloads were `7.4.103` and `7.4.208`. I cannot reproduce the checksum issue, all files have the expected checksum for me when downloaded from `distfiles.macports.org`. Please use {{{ $ sudo port clean --all vim }}} to remove the downloaded distfiles for vim and then try again. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49809#comment:4> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

I suppose it's a credit to MacPorts that I've been using it for years and never needed to file a bug. :-) Grumble. 'port clean --all -f vim' worked. Thanks. Funny thing is, all four machines in my house have the same issue. Since I have a launchd cronjob on each of them to update the ports tree each night, it must've been an inconsistency on the server for a short period. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49809#comment:5> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

I cannot find out which server your download used originally, maybe it was an error on one of the mirrors. The timestamp in the main mirror's web server listing did not change. I assume this was just something temporary. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49809#comment:6> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
