This text file is converted into a binary database at build time, and is not needed at runtime. The bunruidb.txt is a licensed product and I am not sure there is a standard way to specify such an optional file in a Portfile. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29241#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
#29241: knp @ 3.01 - new port ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Reporter: hiroshi.umemoto@… | Owner: ryandesign@… Type: submission | Status: assigned Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.2 Keywords: textproc japanese | Port: knp ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Changes (by ryandesign@…): * status: new => assigned * cc: ryandesign@… (removed) * owner: macports-tickets@… => ryandesign@… Comment: Yeah we don't really have a standard for that, I don't think it's come up before. If the file were needed at runtime I would have suggested a location that wouldn't get cleaned up at startup (like /tmp does). But since it's only needed to compile, and we can't distribute it, /tmp is as good a place as any. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29241#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

I removed the comment for the bunruidb variant, and instead made the variant display the message if the file is not found. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/29241#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
