#34923: py27-pywcs @1.11-4.8.2 +gcc compile error ------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- Reporter: chandadeepti@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.1 Keywords: python | Port: py27-pywcs ------------------------------------+--------------------------------------- I am trying to install this port and having problems. Here is the error message I receive: {{{ $ sudo port install py27-pywcs configure.compiler=clang-gcc-4.2 ---> Computing dependencies for py27-pywcs ---> Building py27-pywcs Error: org.macports.build for port py27-pywcs returned: command execution failed Please see the log file for port py27-pywcs for details: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports .org_release_tarballs_ports_python_py-pywcs/py27-pywcs/main.log }}} Here is the line in the log file where things seem to break down. {{{ :info:build wcslib/C/wcserr.c:140: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault: 11 }}} I have attached the log file. I would appreciate any help. I imagine I'm not the only one having this problem as it is documented that the OS X gcc compiler sometimes produces this problem. I don't know how to resolve it within macports. And if this isn't the right forum, I'd be glad to hear where I can get some help.
