#23190: Update nco to 4.0.0 ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: terhorst@… | Owner: takeshi@… Type: update | Status: closed Priority: Low | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: Resolution: fixed | Keywords: Port: nco | ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Changes (by takeshi@…): * status: new => closed * resolution: => fixed Comment: Thank you for your reminder. I subscribe nco-announce and I am aware of the new version but I had to wait until I found time to work on the update. I committed r62485 before I noticed your message. I had no build problem with +netcdf4 for netcdf and nco so I would like to leave it as a variant. . As far as I understand netcdf4 features are experimental; it breaks old packages. BTW send diff -u rather than the whole Portfile. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23190#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

The port info says the variant is availabel [mac27:/Public/gcompo/IDL_Test_netcdf4] bmcinnes% port info nco nco @4.0.0 (science) Variants: mpich2, netcdf4, openmpi, udunits2, universal so I am not sure where this stands ?
