I just did a "clean --all" and then "patch", and it worked for me. Maybe their GIT hosting glitched for you? Is your MacPorts install up-to-date? Since we're requesting a specific GIT commit, the tarball should be unique; they can't just re-do the commit & have it be the same, that's not how GIT works (IIRC).
