#15100: Define USE_CURL_MULTI for git-core --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Reporter: svoop@delirium.ch | Owner: bryan@larsen.st Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Port Updates Component: ports | Version: 1.6.0 Resolution: | Keywords: git git-core curl Port: git-core | --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Comment(by maccheck@gmail.com): Replying to [comment:10 bryan@…]:
I double checked the git version check, this is the same version check that has always been there. It assumes that 7.16.0 is good, which isn't (see above).
I might have some time tomorrow to do some testing. My iBook fan has stopped squealing, so I again have access to a PowerPC mac. I no longer have access to the repository causing the problems. (Local http pulls never exhibited the problems). Is anybody aware of a very large repository?
Bryan, did you have the time to test a large repo with your PPC machine? Another large repo should be the X.org project at git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/cairo. I had no issues to clone this with my Intel machine. BTW: stock MacPorts curl ist now @7.19.0_0. Maybe this issue doesn't exist anymore here? -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/15100#comment:12> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
