The error is probably due to the bug of xercesc, which seems to have been [https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XERCESC-1958 fixed]. I have {{{ $ port installed xercesc3 The following ports are currently installed: xercesc3 @3.1.2_2 (active) }}} BTW, it would be nice if the title and the details were more descriptive.
