Same issue over here. main.log attached. clean doesn't appear to help. System is El Capitan. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49073#comment:2> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

I updated to El Capitan in the past few days. I completely uninstalled MacPorts, re-installed, and then set up all the ports I had before. For almost all of them, I had no problem. `libgcc45` failed for me in precisely the same was as the OP. Please let me know if there's some command I can execute to gather more information. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49073#comment:4> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

If it mentions a config.log again, as it did before, attaching the config.log could also be helpful. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49073#comment:8> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for macOS
