[MacPorts] #27708: Digikam does not start
#27708: Digikam does not start ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Reporter: CBraun@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.2 Keywords: digikam not starting | Port: Digikam ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Hallo Digikam is not starting. There is only the symbol in he dock. But nothing happens. In the Console i can found no entry. Digikam never startet though i just build it the first time. When doing selfupdate there is shown a message. ########################################################## # Don't forget that dbus needs to be started as the local # user (not with sudo) before any KDE programs will launch # To start it run the following command: # launchctl load /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist ########################################################## The command just replys "Nothing found to load". I then modified the org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist with the PropertyList Editor and activated it. Then i executed the above command once more, without any reply. Doing it again it says something like "already started" so i guess the first command worked. Anyway i still cannot start digikam. So what steps are necessary after doing "sudo port install digikam" ? with kind regards CBraun -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/27708> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

For me it is working. But you could try to start Digikam with the following command to get some more debug information on the console: {{{ /Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/digikam.app/Contents/MacOS/digikam }}} -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/27708#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
