This script is currently provided by net/vpnc. Upstream vpnc seems not active. Most recent release is from 2008. The main author of the script(s) is actively maintaining the script(s) in a different git-repo. Most recent commit fixes split DNS / split routing issue. Enclosed diff replaces net/vpnc with net/vpnc-scripts.
