#46697: llvm-3.5 @3.5.1_1 doesn't provide profiling ------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: hahn.seb@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.3 Keywords: | Port: llvm-3.5 ------------------------+-------------------------------- Hi, I noticed llvm is built with the --disable-profiling option passed to configure. Can this be changed/a port alternate provided that has profiling enabled? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/46697> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

I want to use the -fprofile-instr-generate flag for some of my own code. Linking it fails because ___llvm_profile_runtime isn't found. I'm not sure if that configure parameter is the right thing, but it sounds promising? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/46697#comment:1> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

Won't fix for older ports. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/46697#comment:4> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
