I had the same problem, it occured also when creating a new file, or opening one directly. I had originally built some gimp dependencies with +universal. This may be causing the segfault. I rebuilt *everything* in a different location without the +universal and no segfault occurs. -A -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/32844#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

None of my direct dependencies are built with +universal, but if I have to rebuilt ALL of the dependencies, all the way down, I'm probably better off reinstalling MacPorts. That's hardly an elegant solution, imo. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/32844#comment:5> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Gents, I have the same problem here. It compiled fine, but freezes when I navigate to a folder with images (does not show preview either). Would appreciate a macport noob friendly solution. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/32844#comment:6> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
