[MacPorts] #49531: putty fails to build on OS X 10.11
#49531: putty fails to build on OS X 10.11 -------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: macports2@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.4 Keywords: | Port: -------------------------+-------------------------------- I have a new installation (not an upgrade) of OS X 10.11, Xcode 7.1 (7B91b) and the latest version of port. The graphite2 build fails because unistd.h cannot be found. A 'find /' shows the file exists in two locations for the Mac OS X platform: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.11.sdk/usr/include and /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.11.sdk/usr/include/sys Thanks. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49531> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
#49531: graphite2: unistd.h cannot be found --------------------------+-------------------------- Reporter: macports2@… | Owner: ryandesign@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.4 Resolution: | Keywords: Port: graphite2 | --------------------------+-------------------------- Changes (by ryandesign@…): * owner: macports-tickets@… => ryandesign@… * port: => graphite2 Comment: Sounds like you have not installed the Xcode command line tools, which are required. Run "xcode-select --install". If it says the command line tools are already installed, download the installer from the Apple Developer web site and run it. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49531#comment:1> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

After installing the command line tools I successfully built graphite2 and the puTTY distribution, and was able successfully launch puTTY after installing XQuartz. Thank you very much for your help. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49531#comment:2> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
