#25006: ports command doesn't support the standard options -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Reporter: tommyb06@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: request | Status: new Priority: Not set | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.8.2 Keywords: | Port: -------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- You can't just type port --version or port --help. Having said all this: I love macports! -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/25006> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
#25006: ports command doesn't support the standard options --------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: tommyb06@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: enhancement | Status: closed Priority: Not set | Milestone: Component: base | Version: 1.8.2 Resolution: wontfix | Keywords: Port: | --------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Changes (by jmr@…): * status: new => closed * type: request => enhancement * component: ports => base * resolution: => wontfix Comment: There are already actions for this, and accepting them with double dashes prepended would require changing the whole way we parse args. Which standard requires this exactly? -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/25006#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
