It runs, but I can't use the alt key at all. I was able to work around that by hitting the ESC key twice. But now, in entering math symbols, things are still not correct. When I enter A-s for square root, it displays with a little 'p' instead. The square roots in the docs are the same, so it's not an input problem. I like Texmacs, and was pretty amazed that it built without problems (only a single warning about Ghostscript want to install outside the base directory structure - don't know if that's relevant).
