#33961: glib2: Unable to extract ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: mparchet@… | Owner: ryandesign@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.0.4 Keywords: | Port: glib2 ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Comment(by ryandesign@…): It says: {{{ :info:extract sh: /sw/bin/gnutar: No such file or directory }}} This suggests that the directory /sw exists, or at least existed at the time you compiled MacPorts. /sw is Fink's directory, and it's unsupported to try to use MacPorts together with Fink or another package manager, precisely because of these unpredictable cross-contaminations. Please ensure /sw is gone, then reinstall MacPorts base. You can either download and install the latest MacPorts for Lion disk image, or force a selfupdate; neither should pose a problem for your already-installed ports. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/33961#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
