#39203: mimms @3.2.1 depends on python26; should be able to depend on python2[5-7] alternatives? -------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: mtb19@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.3 Keywords: | Port: mimms -------------------------+-------------------------------- According to its [https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/mimms/ web page], mimms should be able to use Python >= 2.5. Is there any reason why the port depends solely on python26? Can it depend in the alternative on python25 or python27 or both? My apologies if this is a stupid question.... -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/39203> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

Currently the port is using the obsolete python26 portgroup and needs to at least switch to using the unified python 1.0 portgroup. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/39203#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
