[MacPorts] #44675: Terminal doesn't configure
#44675: Terminal doesn't configure --------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: daniele.pontillo@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.1 Keywords: yosemite | Port: Terminal --------------------------------+-------------------------------- Hello. As I summarized, it seems that I can't install terminal (the issue appeared during the xfce installation). I tried reading the log, and the only thing I noticed was an error on the vte port, which was correctly installed (as per my opinion). -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44675> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

(#41861) All of Xfce needs to be updated at once, this will be fixed along with the upgrade. In the meantime, just changing the dependency from vte to vte-gtk2-compat will allow the current port to build and run. Trivial patch attached. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44675#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

I get this error: ** (vte:1054): WARNING **: Failed to fork: fcntl(F_SETFL) failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device This, of course, also affects Terminal, which I strongly use. I have done many things to solve this issue, i.e., port upgrade, clean, reinstall vte-gtk2-compat and Terminal. It doesn't help. What is the problem with this ioctl? -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44675#comment:6> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
