#30196: rsync @3.0.8 checksum mismatch ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: palidaskp@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.2 Keywords: | Port: rsync ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Comment(by ryandesign@…): Upgrading to Snow Leopard would not cause a checksum mismatch; see Joshua's comment above for help with that. Upgrading to Snow Leopard would however necessitate uninstalling and reinstalling all ports as per the [wiki:Migration] document—have you done that? I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say you "used git version 'git-1.7.5.4-x86_64-leopard'"—used it how, in what way? Do you mean you installed it manually, without using MacPorts? If so, I recommend uninstalling it, and instead installing the git-core port with MacPorts. Software installed manually outside of MacPorts can sometimes conflict and interfere with software installed by MacPorts. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/30196#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
