#28909: py26-ngl checksum mismatch ----------------------------------------+----------------------------------- Reporter: barrier.nicolas@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.2 Keywords: | Port: ----------------------------------------+----------------------------------- Hi I have a problem when typing "sudo port install py26-ngl". I have downloaded the source code (see attached file) on the website, and I have the following error: {{{ Error: Checksum (md5) mismatch for PyNGL-1.3.0b1.tar.gz Error: Checksum (sha1) mismatch for PyNGL-1.3.0b1.tar.gz Error: Checksum (rmd160) mismatch for PyNGL-1.3.0b1.tar.gz Error: Target org.macports.checksum returned: Unable to verify file checksums Log for py26-ngl is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_python_py26-ngl/main.log Error: Status 1 encountered during processing. To report a bug, see <http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets> }}} I have successfully set up py26-nio in the same way. Is it due to the fact that the downloaded file is in .tar and not .tar.gz? Please find enclosed the complete log file. Thanks a lot -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/28909> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

What you attached is .tar (about 2.0MB). If you use Safari .gz is found in the trash (~/.Trash). -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/28909#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
