nfsen is broken because the developer does not support destdir and does not care to, and I could find no easy way to force the port to work. The port probably should be deleted.
You managed to patch nfdump so it works in the destroot; perhaps nfsen can be patched in a similar way. I think we could leave the port in the tree and leave this ticket open, in case you or somebody else has time to look into this later. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/22922#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

I recommended this port be deleted, for the reasons you can see. I thought there would be some way to patch this port, but without developer support there isn't a lot that can be done. My mistake was committing a non-finished port in the first place. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/22922#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Fixed this in r87388. The port is still broken, now saying: {{{ RRD version '1.4004' not yet supported! }}} According to the ChangeLog, we need nfsen >= 1.3.4 for RRD 1.4 compatibility. #22923 is the existing ticket requesting nfsen be updated. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/22922#comment:5> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
