#44625: gmp 6.0.0 won't configure - no config.guess file -----------------------+------------------------ Reporter: cjford@… | Owner: mcalhoun@… Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.3.1 Resolution: invalid | Keywords: Port: gmp | -----------------------+------------------------ Changes (by cal@…): * status: new => closed * resolution: => invalid Comment: The problem is that your MacPorts installation uses `/usr/bin/gnutar` (which is not system-provided on Mavericks). I'm not sure how exactly you re-installed MacPorts after the upgrade and/or whether your modified your system so it has a `/usr/bin/gnutar` (which you shouldn't). Please make sure `/usr/bin/gnutar` doesn't exist and run the MacPorts installer from the .pkg on the website again. Then, clean gmp and try again. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44625#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
