Besides the update it removes the "if ${configure.compiler} ..." construct and uses the more recent "compiler.blacklist" keyword to avoid clang. By the way, it works fine with clang on my machine (version: 'Apple clang version 4.1 (tags/Apple/clang-421.11.66) (based on LLVM 3.1svn)').
