[MacPorts] #37242: "port installed" = 'No ports are installed'
#37242: "port installed" = 'No ports are installed' ----------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: rgrush@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.1.2 Keywords: | Port: ----------------------+-------------------------------- I'm having several issues with my Macports after upgrading to Mountain Lion a few days ago. Namely this https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36071. I'm trying to back track now starting with this command "port installed" but all I receive is this 'No ports are installed'. My port version is 2.1.2 and I did run "sudo port selfupdate". As you can guess I'm not in familiar territory so if you can instruct to run tests, if need be, just let me know. Thanks! -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/37242> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Thanks! -- Comment: "No ports are installed" means what it says: MacPorts thinks no ports are installed. If you think otherwise, then there's a problem on your system... Note that when upgrading the OS version, you'll need to uninstall and reinstall all ports anyway; see wiki:Migration; doing so will likely have the side effect of fixing this problem. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/37242#comment:2> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
