Listed maintainers have been unresponsive and have had no communication in over nine months, including several other posted issues and direct inquiries from me. Please do not start this process over again from scratch. Bradley G (pixilla) was involved and very helpful in getting previous patches and updates committed. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44338#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

I was just noting that you used the keyword "maintainer" but you are not the listed maintainer of the port. If the port has been abandoned, then we should follow the [https://guide.macports.org/#project.update-policies.abandonment port abandonment procedure]. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44338#comment:4> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

I had thought that was already done; certainly all notification and time periods have been far exceeded with previous tickets. Shall I open a "Port Abandoned" ticket or is that in the realm of a core MacPorts contributor?
