This Portfile should add support in Macports for gtk3-extra, that already has the older versions gtk-extra and gtk2-extra. Note that currently gtk3-extra depends on gtk2, not on gtk3...

Also: the official name of the package is gtkextra-3 now. If necessary I will rename the port.

I would also like to draw the attention to another port I submitted some time ago but somehow got stuck in the submission process: https://trac.macports.org/ticket/38755
