#32721: Failed install on 10.7.2 with macports 2.0.3 ------------------------------------------+--------------------------------- Reporter: georgekon@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 2.0.3 Keywords: failed, install, lion, xcode | Port: ------------------------------------------+--------------------------------- When I attempt to install using the .pkg (I dont know how to do manual installs) it checks to see if I have the requirements it gives me this error "Xcode is not installed, or was installed with UNIX Development (10.5+) or Command Line Support (10.4) deselected." I installed my version of Xcode from the mac app store. The first time I got this error I immediately updated my xcode to version 4.2.1., but the error persisted. I even tried installing 2.0.0 and got the same thing. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/32721> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

Look for a program in the Applications folder called "Install Xcode" and run it. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/32721#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

The way the installer determines this is by running [browser:trunk/base/portmgr/dmg/InstallationCheck this script]. In your case, the test that is failing is that on your system the file /usr/bin/xcodebuild either does not exist or is not executable. To fix either problem, reinstall Xcode properly. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/32721#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
