[MacPorts] #47292: py27-shiboken-1.2.2_3.darwin_9.ppc - build failure
#47292: py27-shiboken-1.2.2_3.darwin_9.ppc - build failure -------------------------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: rickjburner@… | Owner: macports- Type: defect | tickets@… Priority: Normal | Status: new Component: ports | Milestone: Keywords: | Version: 2.3.3 py27-shiboken,Shiboken,ppc,PowerPC,10.5,10.5.8,FreeCAD| Port: | py27-shiboken -------------------------------------------------+------------------------- py27-shiboken fails to build on my system. I downloaded and built Shiboken from source without any errors so I know it's an issue with the port. I believe my build failure is due to building with gcc-4.2. I attempted adding "compiler.whitelist macports-gcc-4.8" to the port file, but I get a build error that the "-arch" argument is invalid and I can't figure out how to remove the argument. Any help would be appreciated. I'm attempting to streamline the FreeCAD install process for OS X 10.5 and this is the last hurdle in the process. My system specs are listed below. Build log is attached. OS X 10.5.8 Power PC Power Mac 11,2 -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/47292> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X

macports-gcc-4.8 worked without any errors on the build from source. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.macports.org/ticket/47292#comment:2> MacPorts <https://www.macports.org/> Ports system for OS X
