[MacPorts] #26241: py26-pymc doesn't build on 10.5.8 or 10.6.4 +/-universal
#26241: py26-pymc doesn't build on 10.5.8 or 10.6.4 +/-universal --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: russell.jones@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.1 Keywords: | Port: py26-pymc --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- There is an error that seems to relate to f2py, based on the symbols that are not found. Trying to install py-f2py causes python24 to be installed. I do not want python24 installed if I can avoid it, and see no reason for it to need to be. 10.6.4 +universal fails because of py26-numpy failing -universal fails as per the attached log 10.5.8 looks like it fails in the same way, also attached. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/26241> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

There is currently no py26-f2py port and maybe adding that will help. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/26241#comment:1> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS

I have that installed, built against gcc44, which appears to be the compiler that was used when I was trying to build py26-pymc. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/26241#comment:3> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
