[MacPorts] #25947: vte @0.25.1_0 bug in cursor handling
#25947: vte @0.25.1_0 bug in cursor handling ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: tschwabe@… | Owner: macports-tickets@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Normal | Milestone: Component: ports | Version: 1.9.1 Keywords: | Port: vte ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ First of all: this is my first ticket. I hope this one is according to the ticket guidelines. The problem: I upgraded vte to its new version (from 0.20.5_1). Since then I am missing the cursor in xfce Terminal. Even re-buildung Terminal with the new vte did not solve the problem. Some research on the web revealed that this is an issue also for other LINUX distributions. I also found a patch: http://git.gnome.org/browse/vte/commit/?id=b58bc5359085d2c9233ac6d6a265645bf... but I do not know if that works with the vte port and if so how to apply this patch. My settings: * Macbook Pro2,2 * Mac OS X 10.4.11 * Darwin 8.11.1 * MacPort 1.9.1 Thanks for any help. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/25947> MacPorts <http://www.macports.org/> Ports system for Mac OS
