aspell and missing file with en-US

I get this error message with aspell aspell -t -c cfs.tex Error: No word lists can be found for the language "en_US". What do I need to download, to make the error message go away? Does anyone know of tutorial pages for aspell? I'm finding it hard to get used to the commands....
