Only I don't seem to be able to follow the instructions... ... I can pass the prefix option to configure but, I seem to be missing what it means in step 1. by "setting the FLAGS (INSTALL.txt)" so if anybody help me out I would really appreciate it.

I'm not sure what that means either. I asked for more info. Updates to this app are frequent (0.93 came out today -no changes on 10.3) so has anyone contacted the developers to see if a workaround to this problem is possible? Mark
