The master site for the FreeRIDE port isn't exactly correct, but it's odd that it failed as rubyforge apparently redirects from the given URL to the correct one. In any case, I just fixed it to use the real URL. Wait a day or so (well, 12 hours should be enough - I assume the rsync server updates after the PortIndex is rebuilt?), then port sync and try installing it again. i'd like to give a try with FreRIDE but its install stops with
Error: Target com.apple.fetch returned: fetch failed
i think this is only due to the fact port wasn't able to find the correct repository.
then, where is the "good" one and how could I instruct to use it ?
and even how could i know all of the dependencies for a given port, downlaod them, somewhere on my box, and make port using them ?
