I had this problem with snort 2.7 on 10.3.9 and found that uint8_t, uint16_t, and uint32_t were not defined. However, u_int8_t, u_int16_t, and u_int32_t were defined. Hmm, I'm the maintainer, but I'm afraid I don't currently have a Panther installation to test this build on to see what the problem is. If anybody else out there with a Panther installation could see if they can reproduce the problem, I'd appreciate it greatly.
