If you have Xcode < 2.4.1, upgrade to Xcode 2.4.1, available here: http://developer.apple.com/tools/xcode/ If you already have Xcode 2.4.1, please show us what's in the config.log. It will probably be in the directory /opt/local/var/ macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/base
