It installs fine for me on Mac OS X 10.4.11. Maybe Leopard is strange yet again. Any other Leopard users want to report?

No problems on 10.5.2 intel macbook, I just tried it.

Sorry! I uninstalled libevent and reinstalled it. Now it works. Thanks for the feedback. Martin
