I am trying to update several packages (gimp2 and gnome-desktop, among them), but unfortunately the configure phase fails due to the following problem with pkgconfig: configure: error: *** pkg-config not found. See http:// www.freedesktop.org/software/pkgconfig/ Warning: the following items did not execute (for glib2): com.apple.activate com.apple.configure com.apple.build com.apple.destroot com.apple.archive com.apple.install Error: The following dependencies failed to build: gtk2 glib2 pango Error: Status 1 encountered during processing. This is strange, since the latest version of pkgconfig (0.21) is installed (by DP) and active: imac-g5:~ artemio$ port installed pkgconfig The following ports are currently installed: pkgconfig @0.21_0 (active) Any suggestions anybody?
