Hi, I am having problems with both vnc and tightvnc ports on a MacPro(i.e., Intel) running 10.4.8. vnc builds and installs fine, but when the vncserver is launched, the texts in the xterm are mangled, and crashes in a short while. tightvnc doesn't even build. I get the following error messages. Does anyone have a fix? gcc -c -O2 -ansi -Dasm=__asm -I. -I../mi -I../include -I../../.././/exports/include /X11 -I../../.././/include/fonts -I../../.././ -I../../.././/exports/include -DCSR G_BASED -DSHAPE -DGCCUSESGAS -DNDEBUG -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWP ROTO -DMFBTEGLYPHBLT=mfbTEGlyphBltWhite -DOP=MFB_OP_WHITE -DCLIPTETEXT=mfbImageGly phBltWhite mfbtewhite.c mfbtewhite.c: In function 'mfbTEGlyphBltWhite': mfbtewhite.c:235: error: nested functions are disabled, use -fnested-functions to re -enable mfbtewhite.c:235: error: syntax error before 'char1' mfbtewhite.c:317: error: 'char1' undeclared (first use in this function) mfbtewhite.c:317: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once mfbtewhite.c:317: error: for each function it appears in.) mfbtewhite.c:317: error: 'glyphPointer' undeclared (first use in this function) mfbtewhite.c:318: error: 'char2' undeclared (first use in this function) mfbtewhite.c:319: error: 'char3' undeclared (first use in this function) mfbtewhite.c:320: error: 'char4' undeclared (first use in this function) make[4]: *** [mfbtewhite.o] Error 1 make[3]: *** [mfb] Error 2 make[2]: *** [all] Error 2 make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make: *** [World] Error 2 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
