Hi All, I have noticed that port goes through the dependency list sequentially, and build accordingly. This is actually O.K., but it would be nice I the ports with the most "dependants" first. This way if any thing happens before the build is complete I can build others. It should not be to complicated to implement. The reason for suggusting this is that I have been trying to install gnome and came across a few problems. I wanted to get as much installed as I can. So I would start one install and another parralel to that !! But, I had to be carefull which port I was installing sothat they would not block each other. If the ports whith the most depends where build first I could install more efficiently as the check is quicker esspecially with a package like gnome. regards Keith
