Is gtk-sharp going to get upgraded? The old 1.0 release is really not usable at this point and since Macports has the current version of GTK it should be straightforward to upgrade it. Fink maintains two versions, gtk-sharp and gtk-sharp2, although I'm not sure that is the best way.
