Hi I'm trying macrub & hotcocoa these days, and have a question, when i try macgem list or macrake (after `hotcocoa hello`),it take so much time to get a response,it just hang there ,and after almost a minute i see the `Hello from HotCocoa` window what's my problem ?? I'm using macruby 0.6 and SL 10.6.2
I'm using MacRuby 0.6, HotCocoa 0.5.1, OS X 10.6.3 and it only took a few seconds on my Mac Pro (2 x Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2.66 GHz (4 cores total), 4MB L2 Cache, 2 GB Memory). My guess is that you might be pushing your memory limit and/or running on a fairly slow Mac and/or have other processes keeping it occupied? Were you able to reproduce the issue? Take care, Gary On 6/12/10 10:02 PM, niedhui wrote:

This isn't expected for sure. Could you try to take a sample (using the sample command line tool) during execution and post it here? Without any detail it is hard to figure out what's wrong. Laurent On Jun 12, 2010, at 7:02 PM, niedhui wrote:
