Macruby+Cocoa skillswap
Hi again, I'm wondering if anyone is interested in helping me out with a few cocoa/macruby tasks as I build my first osx application? I'm an experienced rails developer and in return I'd be happy to help out with one of your projects.
Hi Alex, I'd be happy to try and help out as time permits. I'm in a similar position as you on the opposite end: I've built some Mac and iOS apps and briefly played with ruby and ruby on rails a few years ago. MacRuby finally made me dive in deeper and learn more about ruby. I'm enjoying it a lot and ruby and cocoa seem to be a great fit. I think this is a great idea. Given the global nature of the MacRuby community, hackfests aren't too likely (though I have thought about trying one here in the SF Bay Area), but tools such as Skype and GitHub might work very well. -r -- http://www.cfcl.com/rdm Rich Morin http://www.cfcl.com/rdm/resume rdm@cfcl.com http://www.cfcl.com/rdm/weblog +1 650-873-7841 Software system design, development, and documentation
