Thank you.  I had to manually install the certificates and it then worked.  I looked at the tickets, but didn't see this one.

The Installer has been digitally signed, but it is possible you may not have the Intermediate CA Certificate on your system for signature validation. If you do not have it, you can pull it down from Apple's Root Certification Authority site with the specific Intermediate CA Certificate found HERE.

Here is a similar Ticket from another user with the same question and resolved the same way:

You simply need to add the Apple WWDR Intermediate CA Certificate to your keychain to allow OS X to verify and trust the digital signature used for signing the installer.
