Has anyone been successful in using DavMail as an Exchange proxy via OWA? I’ve been watching this for some time now as I need the capability. However, Apple put the use of tokend behind them since Mountain Lion or so. I know my question might be more accurately posted in the DavMail feed. However, there is little activity there and the last direct answer I received was to compile code. I understand that is a normal option for most deeply technical folks. However, I am not one of those talented folks. I’m simply a moderately technical business guy that needs the capability. So I see this feed and think, as it is related to CAC/SmartCard usage, I might find a smart person here who has solved my problem as it is related. Thanks!
I’ve used it in the past (primarily on Linux with Thunderbird), but after NMCI upgraded their Exchange servers a couple of years ago, it no longer worked as they no longer supported the WebDAV or EWA (Exchange Web Services) connections to the upgraded OWA. Same holds true for Entourage/Outlook on Mac, which can use Exchange via OWA without DavMail. - David
