I was hoping MacOSForge Apple SmartCard Service’s to put pressure on the Belgian Government. I am in contact with the Belgian government, but they think they can simply give user support & there is nothing wrong. I also was in contact with Zetes, they said they once worked for the Belgian Government, but not atm. So i’m on a dead end street i suppose if none is interested in fixing the problem.

Hello,

The solutions are (imho). - Belgian Government fix their Tokend & during this fix update it to version 3.0. Also they keep it up to date from now on. - The Belgian Government gives the MacOSForge the needed code to make their Tokend BeID Card Version 3 compatible & let them keep the tokend up to date. If a future Generation 4 happens again, they work with the MacOSForge & let them have the new code. Also they supply the latest DMG of smartcardservices with every update of their software or provide a link to the MacOSForge to let the end user get the latest SmartCardServices themselves.
All the actions are for the Belgian Government. You should contact them. I don't see what the SmartCardServices project can do.
Regards,
PS: I do not work for Apple. I just try to help.
