I tried it for a bit, but went back to the 1.6.5 server as soon as I realized that sound output is broken :-(. Really can't function without emacs beeping at me when I make a mistake.
Ah, interesting... not sure why that's happening since there is literally no difference in quartzAudio.c between 1.6 and 1.7 ... so something outside must've changed how we're supposed to hook into the bell... Can you please file a bug report, and I'll try to get to it next week. Thanks.
